Circularity S.r.l. is an innovative start-up and “società Benefit” (i.e a B Corp) fully engaged to promote and support sustainability in its business scope and activities. Born in 2019, Circularity aims to spread the principles of Circular Economy, by promoting the recovery and recycling of materials and by creating a shared environmental, economic, and social awareness.

Circularity supports companies in reducing their resource consumption by improving their production system, by making it regenerative by design while reducing their waste output.

The Company reaches its mission in three ways:

a) By connecting companies and plants that generate waste, by-products, secondary raw materials/End of Waste with companies that could use them in their production process.

b) By creating a digital platform that allows companies of different supply chains to analyze, change and redesign their business model through a circular economy framework.

c) By designing and spreading a «sustainable mindset» by ad hoc trainings and consultancy services addressed to help companies facing sustainability and circular economy issues or gaps.

Circularity’s services range from consultancy and certification services to information and education. They include:

a) Waste and material management: Circularity analyses material flows and industrial processes and designs solutions. Besides offering analysis such as the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and using Material Circularity Indicators, Circularity owns its IT platform “Percorso Circolare” which helps companies to characterize their waste material and match it with logistics partners, transformation industries and new users by leveraging the Circular Economy adoption.

b) Consultancy: the Company acts as consultant for environmental and communication sustainability of companies. This happens through strategy support for carbon neutrality, sustainability Assessment and sustainability reporting.

c) Certification: Circularity offers to its customers different certification like a Circularity process rating (based on standard BS8001:2017), Green Touch (based on ISO26000 and developed by RINA), Materials Under Control (paper and plastic in collaboration with RINA) and AFNOR XP X30.

d) Information and education: through newsletters, webinars, workshops, courses and videos, Circularity educates industries and the general public in Circular Economy principles and informs on opportunities, best practices, legislation aspects and go on so forth, also with the help of its key network partners.
